I began seeing Dr. Pearson in 2010 after my primary doctor referred me to her. At my first appointment I was very honest and disclosed my family history of addiction, along with my prior recreational drug use in my late teens/early twenties. Even so, she immediately started me off with 6-10mg Percocets each day. After several months, we discussed switching me to a time-released medication so I didn't have to take as many pills. She literally asked me what medication I wanted! When I told her that I wasn't sure bc I knew very little about them, she suggested Opana, and once again started me on a high dose IN ADDITION to the Percocet. About a year later I talked very frankly to her and told her that I found myself wanting more and more. She suggested I try a spinal cord stimulator, which I did ultimately have placed, but it caused even more pain. From there, she suggested I start on Fentanyl patches, even though I had already told her that I felt I was becoming addicted! From there, my story is all too common, but she continued to ignore it! I haven't been a patient of hers in years and I absolutely take responsibility for my part in regards to my addiction, but SHE KNEW and kept prescribing! I've been clean since November 10, 2014, and maybe I would have become addicted anyway, but she definitely helped enable it! From what other reviews state, it looks like I wasn't the only one!

I started seeing Dr. Pearson way back in 2009. I had and still have several ruptured disc all throughout my back. I also have a variant of ALS called PLS. Slower progression of ALS. She being a pain management Dr way back in 2010. She stated she though I had more going on than just blown out disc. Sent me to a Neurologist. She was 100% correct. She even got the rare diagnosis correct before the Drs at Mayo in Jacksonville even had suggested PLS. That being said. She is Awesome! She also knows how to give a painless steroid injection unlike the Drs at Chatham Orthopedic! Time to see her again!

Dr. Amy is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She is Very kind, compassionate and caring. She takes all the time you need to discuss and understand your Pain and illness. I have been a patient of hers for almost 10 years. I was very Sad to. Hear of the unfortunate misunderstanding and problems she has been through recently! Dr. Amy, this is Ronny W. I hope you are able to straighten this all out and return to work soon!!! Love You!!!

I also support dr. Pearson Havent found any relief yet. She helped me immensely.
Okay so an area pharmacy tipped off the Chatham narcotics team that someone had forged a script though they didn’t say if it was a pt or empl. She was operating under the practice’s PM license which is legal so when she grew fed up with their policies changing, she decided to sever the relationship. She had to close in order to get her personal PM license reinstated. When the cops came in her office had been closed for two weeks or more and there was no evidence she had treated a single patient since no longer being able to use the practices license. She was arrested having not done anything wrong! The drs saying she was overprescribing are not in PM and fail to understand she was an educated anesthesiologist and knew her skill. I had people say things about her that they had no knowledge of what they were talking about. I pray for her and her patients daily. Even if she gets her PM license back, all this negative and incorrect info going around will have already tarnished her name.
Call the main office in Bruniswick & ask for medical records. I called & got my records about 2 weeks ago.
They claim she was operating without a license. She's a great doctor & I hope she gets the problem corrected very soon & back in business
I don't think she will be back, the doctors in the surrounding areas are afraid to take her patients. Most of the doctors say nasty things about her. I have been waiting all these months to get a pain management doctor even though my primary care doctor has been weening me down on my pain meds so I can get in to see a pain management doctor. I have been told that all of her patients including myself have been on heavy dosages of pain meds that was beyond what the law allows. I am in terrible pain from being weaned down and to top it off my primary care doctor who has been writing my scripts quit her job to move on elsewhere. Now I have to find a pain management doctor now before my medicine has to be refilled. This has been a terrible nightmare. I liked Dr. Pearson she understood my pain but now I am back to square one with no help. God please Help me and everyone else in the same boat.
Dr. Pearson has been my doctor for almost 10 years now. She pays attention to what is causing me my pain. Everything started going to pot when she got with consultants in pain mgmt from Brunswick. I called them to try and get an app., and was told they would call me back. This was Thursday 3 weeks ago. I work out of town alot and came back to make my appt and was told she was closed. Then I found out she had no license had expired. I think when she decided not to move to Brunswick they pulled a fast one on her.they seen all the money they would lose over her going back to Richmond Hill. But that's my opinion. Dr. Pearson if u read this let me know where u are going to open another office. Besides my wife, she knows me personally. After 10 years u get used to someone and it's hard to get used to someone u don't know, and that person has to know who u are. It takes time for that to happen. If u need anything please call me... 312 5329. Happy holidays Dr Pearson! Hope to see u soon.
I don't know. Go to channel WTOC 11 news and read the news reports. There maybe some updates from last week.
