went in to get some shoes + clothes for a game the next day, all the staff were super helpful and nice. the store dog (tilly) is VERY sweet, cute, and well-behaved. their wide selection of golf things and their clear dedication to their customers makes this a top-notch store in charleston.

Staff was good and selection was typical but it seemed small and everything was packed in. I was disappointed in the used club selection. Their prices for used clubs was higher than most Edwin Watts and PGA superstores.

I went to make a return of some golf pants for my husband today. That simple return was turned into a huge ordeal by the store associate. First, he asked for my husbands name. He searched the computer and then told me there wasn't a purchase under his name. I didn't think that should matter as the receipt was in the bag. So, he took out the receipt and proceeded to stare at it for a full minute before responding to me. It wasn't clear what exactly he was looking for, but felt very awkward. My husband had used an Edwin Watts gift card, a visa prepaid card, and our credit card to make the purchase. First, he told me there was no way to tell it was an Edwin Watts gift card that was used even though it said "Gift Card" on the receipt. Once we cleared that up, he then proceeded to tell me that usually they just put all the return funds on an Edwin Watts gift card to be used at the store. I asked that the amount from the original gift card be put back on an EW gift card and the rest returned. Then - and this is truly wild to me - he told me that the money from the prepaid visa card "can't be returned" and that it "goes away." It was so bizarre that I had the items and the receipt, yet he was making it so difficult to get a refund. At one point, he said "you're clearly trying to get payment back for someone." To which I replied, "yes, my husband and myself. I am trying to get OUR money back." I felt like I was in an upside down universe. Thankfully, I did finally get a refund and could promptly exit and never ever go back.
