Called 5 minutes after they opened to be on hold for 36 minutes. Ridiculous.

They are closed to the public and I’ve called multiple times during my breaks at work and when i finally get through to ask the simple question of if they have received my Original passport and marriage license through the mail the lady was getting an attitude. It’s really disrespectful and discouraging, the website mentions not to send original documents, but when you call them they tell you, you must send original documents and then they get upset when you call to check on those documents.. i am not rushing the process I am making sure my passport and my Marriage License are in good hands. If you don’t want people to ask about there stuff open up the offices. Y’all aren’t busy because y’all have the offices closed to public and barely answer the phone. Really upsetting

It's usually a good experience. The only issue is the security guard, who is a jerk.

Does your office call on phone
Yes, walk in accepted now anytime. Covid restrictions are lifted, but the security will make u wear a mask, even though it's not policy, or mandated. It's a 1st amendment violation if someone wants the free money
What about getting early retermwnt Due to being Baby Boomers
You do not need an appointment but to go a little faster you can call and get one.
Call office to confirm
They are not opened to the public. You have to call them and have it mailed to you or go on line to get one.
I recommend you call their "800" number. They were closed last time I visited, around the end of July.
Yes but office was closed in late July due to C-19. You may need to handle over the phone or via internet
There's a machine inside the SS office to get one.
I didn't need one. This was first ever visit there. I just walked in took a number from the security person and watched/listened for my number. Remember this is a government facility so no weapons of any type are allowed. You can play on your cell phone but if you need to take a call you have to step outside.
I don't think so. That's a question you will need to call them and ask.
In February
You will need to call the social security office about that
When I applied for mine it came in about a week
You will need to go Get your child's birth certificate.
It is first come first serve to see someone and then they make an appointment.
Social Security doesn't have that. That could be something that DFCS offers.
Probably birth certificate
Easy process, no appoint necessary. Exceptional service rendered to all guests.
What sort of help?
Not for starters
yes
You have to go to the Social Security office with a copy of the death certificate. I hope my answer helps you.
You can apply for SSA retirement benefits three months before you turn 62.
There's no charge for a social security card
