Dr. Mayes saved my husband's life. He did not give up or give in to insurance guidelines when looking for the cause of his symptoms. We are forever grateful. For those concerned with concierge fees, you should consider lobbying for health care reform to make a difference. We value our life and health enough to adjust our budget to be treated by the best! Dr. Mayes and staff are the most thorough and professional medical personnel that I have ever been exposed to and they saved my life. They spend as much time with each patient as is necessary in order to listen and learn any concerns you may have regarding health. They are just nice people also. I would recommend his practice to anyone wishing to get the best medical care available.

I've been a patient of Dr Mayes for 19 years. He feels terrible that he had to do that. But there were so many patients that he hadn't seen in a long time because they were only seeing the nurse practitioner. He has been charging that for a while because if you have noticed he has a huge overhead. Don't be upset with him be upset with our health care system!
Someone else said that it's $1,400 a year to have him as your doctor. A lot of cable bills are more than that.
