Advertise as a choice hotel but fall under the guidelines on some things like it is advertised online as pet friendly and this hotel is NOT. also can't redeem points towards free night stay, like at other choice hotels. price difference online and calling direct are very much different, and it is not honored. It is a nice hotel with a indoor pool but the prices really hit kinda hard when coming up to support this community.

Room,Staff,Pool and Location were great to downtown Mayberry!!! Beds were very comfortable and the room accommodated our disabled adult son.

Our stay was comfortable, our only complaint was with the Bathroom size and lack of space for hanging clothing and towels. Plus, when the first shower was taken and steam was in bathroom there were visible hand prints on the mirror so obviously was not thoroughly cleaned.

Be very careful staying here and check you bank or credit card statements after!. I recently stayed her with my children. We usually stop here on our way east. We were charged $168 which was much higher than usual, but with inflation, I guess. We checked in to room and it was musty and generally in rough condition. I mentioned to the woman who checked us in and also mentioned that the TV screen was broken. She said "thanks for letting me know" I figured they were fully booked. The bathroom sink didn't drain, toilet didn't flush, tv broken, microwave door was melted, furniture was scratched and broken, garbage under chair, bugs on floor in bathroom, carpet was poorly vacuumed and the bed was not made. But we just made do and went to bed and left promptly in morning. Two days later I'm charged with the pet fee of $75!!! The room was so disgusting from not being properly cleaned prior that they charged for having a dog!! We didn't have a dog, we parked directly out side of front door in full view of reception, we only used main entrance. I called numerous times and all though they said the refunded my $75 I cannot confirm as it hasn't gone through yet. Manager never once called me back or apologized. I have filed a dispute with my back, and will be filing a fraud complaint with bbb. My room should have been refunded. Disgusting customer service bordering on fraud.
