The er waiting room at roper st Francis hospital, was barely halfway full . People were in there vomiting , broken limbs, etc. & the service was extremely slow , staff acted as if they didn’t have a care about what the people in the waiting room were dealing with , there was no sense of urgency getting people to the back at all!!!! I guess you gotta come in a ambulance for proper treatment/care. It’s been almost 2 hours & I still haven’t made it to the back. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend, i pray no one ever has to come here if life or death

Thirteen months ago I was told that I would need my shoulder replaced. I have avascular osteonecrosis caused by chemo and had torn my rotator cuffs kayaking. Today I had my last physical therapy session. Without having any surgery of any kind, I am back to kayaking and swimming. Thank you, Kate. You are the best. I wouldn't be this strong and healthy without your help.

Waited for almost 2 hours for them to see my mom because her leg was broken, heard staff sitting around talking about patients negatively the whole time. I finally decided to ask someone to see my mom because her pain was unbearable and they responded with a simple shrug & told us to keep waiting. Next time I'll be going to downtown at MUSC where I know they care about patient treatment.

Waited for 3 hours to get bloodwork done in the Outpatient Services area. It wasn’t that busy. Appear to be very understaffed.

Are you dehydrated
Drive around to left, when you are facing the front entrance.
It all depends. If you are having a CT with contrast and the time of day. If your appointment is early morning, the answer is no coffee. You can NOT eat 4hrs prior to your check in time but you can have plenty of water and your meds as long as it doesn't require food with it. If your appointment is at 12 or 1pm you can have coffee or whatever you like to eat or drink. Just be sure to stop eating 4 hrs prior and flush with plenty of water until you've had your appointment. You also have to arrive 90 early if you're having contrast because you have to drink it there. Even if they are doing I.V. contrast they ask for you to arrive that early in the event you haven't had any blood work done in the last 30 days to check your Creatine levels. Hope this helps.
Prob not, if so only patient is allowed
They do have phones in the room and you can call anytime but typically prefer not to late so the patient can get the rest they need.
It should be $100 but it depends on what the doctor there has to do when u visit
I would give them a call.
I showed up thru the outpatient entrance at 650 am and signed in and had no appointment, about 710 I was finished and I was a floor nurse for years , the stick was literally painless. Awesome team, very professional and super organized. Very caring people. St. Francis saved my life, long story but true, if you want a terrific hospital with extremely educated nurses , go to St. Francis E.R. !
All hospital post partum labor and delivery departments , make sure that new mom's go home with everything they initially need to care for their newborn.
Not sure depending on your insurance..but if you call them they should be able to get you a price.
