I don't know if there are other veterinary clinics who see snakes around here, but SCAH does and they're great! Dr Bolt is good at his vocation and has a wonderful "bedside" manner. The receptionists are friendly and the techs are good, too.

Yes, would highly recommend them. Dr Bolt is very through
Yes , Dr Bolt and his team are the best, we've been taking our bunnies to him for several years, they are very knowledgeable and compassionate.
Hi Patricia, If you are asking if he is a Board Certified Avian Vet, the answer is no. I have worked with Dr Bolt for almost 17 years, he does amazing work with birds. He works with Phoenix Landing and does wild birds (including birds of prey) that are injured, for the community. The only Board Certified Avian Veterinarian that I am aware of is Dr Lauren Powers at Carolina Vet Specialist in Huntersville, NC Thank you so much for you inquiry, Michelle Office Manager Sweeten Creek Animal and Bird Hospital
They take all kinds of exotic animals. I talked to a woman at our last visit who had a beardie dragon and her dragon was there for x-rays. Great vet office.
Yes we are, please feel free to call us at 828-684-8875 and we would be happy to set up an appointment for your pet(s). Thank you for reaching out to us!
They do avian, he is very good.
Hi, I apologize, I just now had the opportunity to check our messages. I do not have a vet available today that treats birds. I also do not have any openings until next week. I would try Haw Creek, Blue Ridge Animal Hospital, Birdhouse Mobile, or All Pets. I am so sorry we are unable to help you today. Thanks, Michelle
Hi Nicole, We do see ferrets. You will have to call Monday to schedule an appointment. I know that our next available appointment is not until next Friday. If this is for a sick ferret you may want to try All Pets, Charlotte St Animal Hospital, Haw Creek, or Pinnacle. We do not have weekend hours and Dr Bolt is very booked right now. Thanks so much, Michelle
Yes, we see many birds, including Parakeets! Please call us at 828-684-8875 to schedule an appointment. Thank you for the inquiry.
We do beak trims on birds and turtles if needed. Often that is indicative of something internally unless there is a malocclusion. Please feel free to call us and get on the schedule to see Dr Bolt. He would do a thorough exam and evaluation of husbandry and trim beak if necessary. Our number is 828-684-8875. He is usually booked about a week out. Thanks for you inquiry. Michelle (Office Manager)
Hi Chris, I apologize for the late reply, I do not check our questions everyday, I am so sorry. Yes, we do see chickens. Please call us at 828-684-8875 to schedule an appointment. Thanks so much
They are excellent with birds . I use them for my birds and the are the only aviary vet around that I would trust But your first visit will run around $115.00 just for the office visit but they will give you a better idea of cost when you call them Monday.
Yes, through the contact form on this page: https://www.sweetencreekvet.com/contact-us.pml
Hi Amber! We do see guinea pigs. I would suggest calling to get an appointment scheduled. The exam will be $69.66, additional testing or meds are an additional cost that can be estimated after the doc sees her.
They do
No this is a doctors office.
They have a large practice of exotics as well as dogs and cats. Call M-F for info.
