I've been over to Edgar a few times for brunch/breakfast - usually you can get a table pretty easily. The service is ok compared to other places in the city it isn't great. The food is solid - would I seek it out again -- maybe the hotel is cool and it's a good location but probably not. Pancakes were a highlight, burger was ok, mcedgar was solid was well.

The Mayflower Hotel’s main lobby bar and restaurant. While it shares the same name as my father-in-law that is about it for this place. We stayed at the Mayflower and had drinks and desserts while waiting for dinner reservations at another place. My wife got an espresso martini that she very much enjoyed and I got a Non-alcoholic beer that hit the spot also. We chose their cheesecake and it was nothing special but tasted good. If you are staying at the mayflower it makes a perfectly fine main lobby bar or room service burger but that’s about it. I’d skip this place if it’s a date night or you only have a few days in town.

The bartender was awesome. He is quick. He is polite. Breakfast was delicious and not too pricey. Thank you for your hospitality.

This restaurant is located inside of Mayflower hotel and I have reviewed the hotel separately. I have been here a few times, despite of a much more limited menu and shorter hours of operation the service and quality of food and drinks are still good.
