Absolutely horrible and unprofessional company! They refused to bid on our project and instead stated an whopping price for such a very small project this after waiting 2 1/2 months to get back to us! Daylan was not only rude to our staff but to our lead manager who just last her father last week! Horrible, horrible company! Do not send them your plans or give them your business!!!!

Herbert Construction is amazing! It's one of the best places I've ever worked. It's so nice to work for a company where the focus is on communication. I never feel undervalued, underappreciated, or like my opinions don't matter. The Herberts are a great group of people, and so are the other people who work there. I've never felt so much like my input matters, and it means a lot that Doug Herbert, the president of the company himself, would take the time to listen to my ideas and help me grow in the company. The other staff members are always on your side and want you to do well, and the guys in charge of the construction crew are hardworking, extremely smart in their fields, and deserving of respect as leaders. As a side note, I've seen them help customers with issues completely unrelated to concrete foundations, and establish open and upfront communication with their clients. Can't say enough good things. Awesome company.

Asked them for a quote years ago and they basically said if you have to ask then you can't afford us. They said they didn't get involved in bidding for projects because they were professionals (as if others were not). So I suppose if you want to use them you'll just have to assume they are the best, open up your wallet, and don't worry about anything else. :)
