My neighborhood offers few options in terms of grocery stores and having shopped at Publix in Venice FL I was delighted to learn I could do the same in NC. None of the locations are close enough to serve as a place for a quick errand but their produce is of superior quality and they have a wide selection of products. The Publix at McKee Farms is my favorite because the store itself seems more spacious and wide open than others perhaps because the lighting is well designed. No doubt about it, Publix is not an inexpensive place for grocery shopping but if you watch for sales and curb your desires for food treats unavailable elsewhere it is a great place to shop.
