Just ok for the price. Can no longer touch the Ray's etc in the touch tank, which was a bummer. And the whole experience was too short for the price

It was relaxing and soothing going through the aquarium tunnel at the MOA. Very nice seeing a lot of exotic fish. Only relaxing thing at the MOA. Get your mind off the hustle and bustle. Best aquarium around :)

The kids loved it. Tunnel was very cool! What a great experience. Pricey, but worth it.

Very nice staff

$24.99 at the door, but if you buy online you get 20% off as long as you want. You walk through at your own pace. Also guys, it's a great place to go on a first date
There's no accommodation for swimming at all. It is not an open air facility either. There is a lot to look at. Some aspects of it gives you an underwater perspective when you are walking through.
$17.49 but you can find deals online or if you have purchased a car with luther automotive they give you a card for 20% off I believe
They can scan the barcode off your phone. Last time we went they had a station with a scanner set up, and you scan it yourself, there's an employee nearby who waves you through once you're done.
The time slot you choose is the time for the behind the scenes tour. So you would have to show up at the time you chose....if you do not make it in time for the tour you still are free to walk around the rest of sea life all day
No. Last time we felt we were "pushed through" from the crowd of people
According to the website— Saturday (December 30): 9:30 am to 9:00 pm Sunday (New Year's Eve): 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
$23.99+ but if you search online, you can get a coupon for $5 off.
You're right $15 per kid from 6 and up
Look it up on google and see if anyone else had the same problem or call customer service
Yes. And for that alone it's worth it!! Especially with kids. You're literally walking under monster sharks and swordfish 😁
Way cheaper if you pre buy online. Use the code shark for a $5 discount.
With IKEA Family Card you get 40% discount, and as said above, you get about $5 discount if you buy them online
A coupon is available for $2 off per general admission. With the coupon, adult tickets are $23.99 and children are $20.99.
22 dollars per kid but you can get discounts for it at the mall. Just watch for the shark walking around or go to the information desk and see where you can pick up the discounted tickets. They also offer military discounts for veterans or active duty with your ID.
It took us about an hour and a half for us with taking pictures and reading some of the fun facts
15.99+ depending on resident of MN or tourist
Around $25/person and worth it if you like diversity in fish, although I think there are too many jellyfish tanks. There are so many other fish species to marvel at. The sharks are plentiful and I enjoy seeing the sturgeon. So prehistoric!
That's a good question to ask Sea Life
No reservations required...you can buy tickets at the door. There used to be people at a desk where you'd buy them but now it's just an electronic box on the wall with its own little exhibit.
E
If you buy tickets in advance I believe it is $21 for MN resident adult, $22 non resident, and from age 3 to 12 is $17. Under 3 is free
Online is better
Call them...I do know on the website, it does say that if the facility has an unforeseen closure, the tickets will still be valid when they reopen. You have to call to get all the details.
On their website they have a reservation process when you buy a ticket, but if you've already bought tickets (that were cancelled) you may have to call. Sidenote: It's MUCH cheaper to buy tickets online through their website! Plus Minnesotans get an extra discount.
You can get them there, but there's often a discount for purchasing online in advance.
You might wanna call Sea Life and ask them. They are open now.
Yes, we have 4 kids and our 2 year old was free.
Yes! You can use your annual pass to buy tickets at 50% off for family and friends Online! Go to visitsealife.com to purchase your tickets!
I would check the website. My family and I had passes to attend all the attractions.
I don't recall but we had a coupon that was readily available near the mall information on a podium. Be sure to ask at the information desk about them.
I'm not sure you could check their website or call and ask. I'm sorry I don't have the answer you are looking for. But it is really nice
Yes I believe they do... It's best to buy the package deal that they offer for the Flyover America at the same time saves you substantial amount of money
We bought our tickets and then paid the additional cost for the behind the scenes.
I think they have a MN resident deal going on now for 12.99 children's admition otherwise standard children's admition. Not sure what that is now though.
Buying online would be cheaper, $20 for general and about $25 for all access. Walk in is $26 and $36 respectively.
We got discounted tickets 3 adults and 5 yr old was 100.00 but a adult ticket is 28.00 try groupon for discounts
You can breeze through in a half hour, but if you stop to read the signs and watch the fish it can be at least an hour.
Yes there is as well as a Mayo Clinic discount. You can also purchase combo passes!
I just called them. They said PCA don't need to purchase a ticket. Just the client ticket needs to be purchase.
Not that I've ever seen. You do get a discount from buying online vs at the door though
Depends how crowded you want it to be. There is always stuff going on and all the animals can be viewed just depends on you.
Prices for groups can be found online where there are discount tickets. Check the website.
It depends on whether you buy on site, or online. It is cheaper online by about 30%. It should be around $16 dollars online.
Contact a travel agency
No. If you work for the mall directly you get 50% but not if you work at one of the stores or kiosks.
You may also be able to stay with your child overnight.
Yep! Open year round. I would wait until Spring though. They are opening a new rainforest exhibit!
Yes.
Not dangerous, very safe, very kid friendly in my opinion they can touch some of the fish feed some of them reason it is in Mall of America to get more tourists to come through too see not only the Mall but the aquarium
Admission but look for coupons in the mall by the sea life place on the second or third floor $5 off
You could spend over an hour for sure, (but if you needed it to be quick you could zoom through in 30 minutes too). I think we spent at least an hour, (though it's been about 1.5 years since we last visited). There are things to touch at the beginning, things to watch all throughout, and a few things to do and to buy at the end.
You see everything except the feedings and the animals that they dont have out in exhibits. You get to see 3 different kinds of small sharks Ray's fish turtles jellyfish all sorts of stuff.
No. Ages 2 and under are free!
It is not free however the mall of America website has discounted tickets.
Not long
Yes. You can get stamped and come back as many times during the day as you want
17.49 walk up for child, 15.99 online. Plus you can get coupons tons of places.
Took us maybe an hour at most, mostly because we kept stopping and taking pictures
It's a packet that goes off of all the quizzes and info throughout the aquarium. Basically a packet that gives off more info but in a fun way. If you're going there to track them I would get it otherwise save your cash
It varies in person vs online. Order online to save money.
Yes, if you walk around the mall the have coupons. For every adult purchase a kid is free with coupon.
It's got lots of sharks
Service animals are more than welcome at SEA LIFE! We just ask that they wear their service vest and are identifiable as a service animal.
You would do better if You go on their website, because You get discounts. The price may also change with the day of the week but for this weekend is: $16 for kids 2-12 $22 for adults
check the website
No as said before there are pregnant sting rays and touching them or putting hand in the water is dangerous for their health and subjects them to bacteria and disease. They may still let you feed them however
You might find a deal if you call
Underwater World was the original name of the aquarium at the Mall of America, starting in 1996. A re-opening of the aquarium, in 2000, changed its name to Underwater Adventures Aquarium. In 2008, the aquarium became a part of British-based Merlin Entertainments group of attractions, and was rebranded as a Sea Life Centres in March 2011. Source, Wikipedia.
