I have enjoyed going to both services and a few small groups. I have been attending almost a year. Like any place you have your "clicks" put all seem welcoming. They have a wonderful single moms group. (Though the Pastors don't mention the group, unless prompted.) They don't get 5 stars because the Head Pastor Zach is unapproachable and not very welcoming. The other 2 Pastors are the opposite. 5 stars for them!

WOW! Family Family 's review is a shocker, this is not at all the feel of Calvary church. If you look at this person's reviews though, they have a history of unsavory experiences. When that is the case it's almost always due to the individual themselves. If you look at everyone as 'rude 'and complain about everything most of the time, perhaps you need to take a look at yourself and how you are perceiving the world. I pray that God helps give this person some peace and happiness in their life. My experiences at Calvary church in Golden Valley have been nothing less than wonderful! A very wholesome, diverse and welcoming atmosphere. There is always someone to greet you, as well as the pastors and volunteers who shake hands and thank you for coming as you leave. People all around are helpful and directing you if you need to find something, just an all-around comfortable feeling among pleasant, happy people.

Will there be in-person services on Easter this year? Also, will you need to preregister?

Tom Johnson | Oct 30, 2021
Calvary, Golden Valley Campus | Oct 30, 2021

Tom, Yes, we are planning to have indoor, in-person services. On Saturday evening, we have a 6:30pm modern service. On Sunday morning, we have a 6:30am traditional sunrise service in the Chapel, an 8:00 am traditional service in the Worship Center and a 9:30 and 11:00am modern service in the Worship Center. All of the listed services will also be available at our online campus at live.calvary.org. We are not currently intending on taking reservations as we will have plenty of overflow spaces should the crowd exceed stated capacities. **As always, things may change if the pandemic and state necessitate it.

Is the church services online only or is it open for in person worship?
