Hey Jon, Thanks for the question. A Buyers Premium is common in the auction industry. It helps offset costs for website development, marketing, staff, insurance and all the other fun stuff that comes with running a business. 3% of that buyers premium goes to the affiliate to help offset their credit card charges. Good question, sometimes new information is found that is added to a description. We do lock the ability to adjust descriptions within 6 hours of the auction close. Our policy is that if an edit is made that could negatively impact the perceived value of the item, we would halt the item or reset the bidding to $5 so everyone is bidding with the new information in mind. Most adjustments are made if multiple people ask for additional information like model number, size, etc. If you feel that something was changed and would like to discuss, please contact us on our contact page and we will gladly look into it!
It adds 3 minutes to the bid, It means it will start closing at the time but not finish at that time. Only ends when yours or whoever's bids last within the 3 minutes.
On the items page there will be a button that says place bid if your the first one it will be 5.00 otherwise it will say next bid and list an amount.

Easy cop out or just plain lazy? I have found that if my card will not work from time to time I can pick up the phone and call, I then give my card number to billing. When that exosting task at hand is about complete I let the company know to ask you for your I.D. current along with the card you had used to make the payment all will be good. One other very important for the transaction is to keep your cool and be remembered as the really nice guy that called to prepay before parcel pick up.
