I applied with Belcom Security, and was offered to come in for an interview. Upon arriving for the interview I spoke with Jake, and he told me he had a few positions that would work with the schedule I had. I chose one of them and was told he would get back to me. 3 days passed and I sent him a message and he responded with “I don’t think it would be a good fit for you.” I gave him a call back because I was confused on what he meant by this, when he answered I told him I thought you had a few positions that would work for my schedule. He then responds with no sorry I don’t think it would be a fit for you. I tried to get him to explain what he meant by that, and he kept responding again with I don’t think it would be a fit for you. He also said he has 0 positions open. Which leads me to think that it’s deeper than what he’s trying to tell me. A lot of shady business going on with this company, anyone applying I strongly suggest you think twice.

I received an email last week from State Patrol asking me to re-submit my application as my Academy was canceled due to lack of funding last fall. I have chosen to not resubmit my application as I have told the owners of the company that I am happy with the way they support and take care of their employees! Working for Bel Com, I am making more money now than I did as a police officer 10 years ago. Whenever I’ve had an issue they’ve always been able to resolve the item in a timely manner! If you’re looking for a great employer, make sure you apply to Bel Com!
