3Bears did an absolutely amazing job on my lawn. The owner was knowledgeable and communicative letting me know what work they were doing and why, as well as follow up steps I would need to do to help maintain the work done. In addition, the workers were kind, respectful and worked very diligently. They made sure that the work was done thoroughly and properly and were very kind and informative when I spoke with them. I would definitely employ them again in the future for any other services I need for my property.

This review was updated to provide a better representation. This is my first review: Scheduled a consultation for $70, had a conversation with someone about having a retaining wall done. The consultation took less than 5 minutes. The representative mentioned they would get back to me with an estimate. Haven't received any sort of communication after a week. I wish they had declined right away when they are not interested in these projects... Would not recommend. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is an update posted on 8/30/2022: After leaving the above review, 3 Bears reached out to me asking me if I want the $70 back. I said yes. They reach out again saying: "If we process the refund, will you take down the bad review?" I felt it was wrong for them to give me an ultimatum to get my money back and I did not respond. They followed back after about 20 days not including the estimate in thier email repeating that they were short staffed and doing their best. They said: "I was ready to give you an estimate but you left your review and declined." Unfortunately, after about a month, I have neither an estimate nor the money back. Again, would not recommend. Here is an update posted on 8/31/2022: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unfortunately, since my last review, they responded with an untruthful statement and sent an email with an accusation. Here is how they are being dishonest: In their response to my review they mention: “…but only after 48 hours, you left a bad review and said you were no longer interested.” That’s a lie. I have records that show my review was posted after 7 days. In fact, they emailed me one day after I posted my review, so they are aware that their statement is not true and shows their mendacity. Their response says that I said I am “no longer interested”. Also, their response to my review says: “After emailing you an email for a refund, you declined the offer.” Again, that’s incorrect. When they reached out to me, I clearly stated: “A refund would be fine.” In response, they said: "If we process the refund, will you take down the bad review?" Lastly, They stated “You wouldn't talk to us to resolve the solution which is a bummer.” They also sent an email accusing me of destroying their business saying: “I guess you just want to destroy my business and I’m trying my best to help you.” Again, false. The company charged a specific amount of money to provide a service. After about a month, they have not provided the service and they have not refunded the customer yet. Instead, they have offered an ultimatum to take my review down. Needless to say, I have never written such a review for any business. Unfortunately, their responses indicate lack of professionalism and sense of responsibility.

We were very disappointed in our experience with 3Bears in the end. We chose them because they were a local company and we wanted to support a small business. Initially it started ok. In hindsight I feel we overpaid for our landscape design which took many months to even get a draft of - weeks past their promised date. We removed 4 trees in preparation for a significant landscaping project with them spending thousands of dollars on tree work alone. We hadn't heard about next steps and reached out to them and quickly learned 1) various staff we worked with were no longer with the company and as such 2) 3Bears told us they could no longer do our project. The owner stated he must have forgotten to email us. While I know it's been a rough few years for many small businesses, I'm generally just really upset and dissatisfied with their communication and customer service.

3 Bears Landscaping stepped in at the beginning of the summer 2021 for mowing and lawn care of our homeowners assocition property when our existing contactor had to bow out for health reasons. We found 3 Bears to be very responsive, responsible and professional for our HOA's needs. Very good service and excellent communication with us as customers. I highly recommend 3 Bears.
