I never got past the phone call! How did this place get such good reviews?? I told the woman who answered the phone that I was doing two flooring projects, 1) two stairways in carpeting, and 2) the whole upper floor in LVP. I'd already picked out the products and was trying to see if they carried them so I could get additional estimates. When I told her what carpet I'd chosen, without a beat to check, she told me I'd have to bring in the sample to match because they didn't carry it in that name, but maybe they had it under a different name. I read this as: we don't carry it so come in and start over to find a match. I then asked if she could just check to see if they carried any of the three choices I'd narrowed it down to for the upstairs LVP. She hung up on me. If this is their customer service to compete for a bid, imagine what it's like once they get the job and your money! During and after installation might be a nightmare. I'd never work with a company like this.

We replaced this year existing carpet vinyl with new carpet and luxury vinyl plank, and we can wholeheartedly recommend Bloomington Carpet One (BCO)! Josh was our salesperson, and was tireless, knowledgeable, and patient in working out different options and educating us about the pros and cons. We did some comparison shopping. BCO's good pricing, their responsiveness and promptness, and them doing their own work (not subcontracting) were compelling, so we went with them. After we ordered the work, BCO was able to put the job on schedule within days. The BCO installers accidentally installed the vinyl plank in a wrong area. This error also led to some other issues. When BCO realized this, it immediately acknowledged its error and responsibility, and worked to correct as soon as it could. The BCO installers were back the next day to start addressing the issues, and Eric and another employee even visited the job after their workdays, just to evaluate and determine solutions. Matt (general manager) got involved at the end to make sure that we were satisfied with the resolution. (We were.) However careful a company is, some type of error will happen sometime to that company - that's a fact of life. How the company - and the people at the company - respond sets the great ones apart. And Bloomington Carpet One, through its actions and the actions of its employees, clearly distinguishes itself as a great company!

We just had beautiful wool carpet installed in our bedrooms. We found the selection and quality of products in the showroom to be plentiful and appreciated that we could bring home samples to try. We had a few minor hiccups along the way but after voicing these to Matt, the General Manager he had genuine concern and care, unlike I've ever experienced from a business owner. I'm looking forward to utilizing Carpet One for my next flooring project in the spring.
