Thank God I have not had anything serious to complain about, only my neighbors who have moved out have left their garbage and nobody does anything, I think they should have more maintenance, we have many flies,

On 7/27/2022 I sent an email to the office because I moved in the same week, and had some small cosmetic issues. It’s 9/21/2022 and even after contacting Cushman and Wakefield a month ago, I haven’t received service for my request. The same week of move in I had an AC issue, and had to wait a week with temperature in the 90’s, luckily I stayed at a friend house. But should’ve been the property responsibility to do a final walkthrough before a new tenant move in. The positive thing is the neighbors, and peace. But I hope to not have any serios maintenance issues because I know the wait will be long, and request most likely be unattended. W

Let me share my experience of this place. I should’ve stayed away when I was having issues setting up my lease from the beginning. I was trying my best to provide them with an opportunity to correct the issues. First, when I applied online the website provided very little information regarding what are the steps to setting up a lease. I tired calling the leasing office several times over the course of several days and no answer. I emailed them and only received answers once a day (if at all). Second, since I needed a place to stay, I had to drive down from NJ in the middle of the night so that I had a opportunity to get in front of the leasing officer on a Friday morning because they were not open any weekends. A copy of the lease could’ve been scanned to me and I could signed it and sent it back. But that option was never presented to me. After I secured my lease I wasn’t able to move into the place for a week because the water couldn’t be turned on. I was only able to apply for the water once I had a signed lease. After I moved in my air conditioning didn’t work and since they had no maintenance staff I had to wait a week for the repair. Finally I moved out and was waiting for a final bill which never arrived. But I did receive a bill from a debt collector one month after my official move out. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Since moving in in February we have had several issues. Several interior cosmetic issues upon move in. Maintenance requests are not being processed in a timely manner. The phone in the office isn’t being answered and messages aren’t being returned. Horrible painting concerns that are only now being addressed over a month after move in. That entire process has now stretched to over 3 weeks with no word on when they will be back to finish the job. The Street is very narrow and crowded and there is only one way in and out for all the new buildings. Builders play loud music all day and many times until 7 pm. Privacy fences added to unoccupied units while paying tenants are told the fences are on back order. Sod, or lack there of, is embarrassing with the weeds are not being cared for and are over a foot high in some yards. There is no office manager to follow up since the original manager left in March. Please get it together Poplin Glen!! EDIT - 6 months into our lease and still having issues. The blaring music has stopped and the privacy fences have been added, but now we have a series of other issues. It's been 6 months and Poplin Glen has not resolved out painting concerns. If you breath on these walls the paint that was use it so poor that it leaves a mark. The units are settling so nails are popping paint off the walls. They hired a third party painter who was very kind and apologized that the paint he was provided from the office didn't match the white on the walls. (I can live with that - just cover the holes and other blemishes) Painters have been to our unit over 6 times - It's never ending. The last visit was on August 18th wherein we were told that they would be back to finish the following Friday or Saturday and that we would hear from the office on exactly when. I'm writing this update on August 31st and I have not heard anything from the office while I stare at the patching on the ceiling. Management blames the builders - The builders don't care - the tenants have to deal with the corners that were cut. We now have mail issues since the owners decided to put identically numbered units with similarly named street names within walking distance of one another. We get wrong packages delivered and have missing mail. I get this falls on USPS/UPS/ect - but calls out more poor planning with regards to the street name and numbering. (See street width, parking concerns, and landscaping for other examples of bad planning) The ceiling fan in our main bathroom has gone out twice. The worst part of all of this is the lack of communication form management. Maintenance came out last week and advised they would have to order a new transmission for the brand new washing machine. He advised the part would be in by this Wednesday. We never heard from the office and when we did follow up they advised it would be yet another week for the repair. I'm over having to do my own follow ups. Just fix the issues please. All we've asked for is timely follow up from management and not to be held hostage by the concerns management has with the builders and the existing warranties due to the units recently being built as that isn't our concern. And before you invite me down to the office to talk about this please know that I don't have time to visit the office during your hours. I just need the actions taken to complete the concerns.

Hi there, Thanks for the question! Poplin Glen Townhomes are available for lease (rent) and not for sale. The community was built in the same manner a for-sale townhome community would be constructed, with high-end finishes you'd expect in a custom home. But instead of selling, we're renting them...something that hasn't been offered in the area before! Come take a tour with us or schedule a self-guided tour and you'll see why folks are flocking to Poplin Glen!
