Yes, the ID card can be obtained at the Lakeside Drive clinic. The process is completed there, but the ID is actually mailed to your residence.
Echo evaluations is a specialty clinic located at the Salem VAMC. The Primary Care Provider or Cardiologist would have to place an order for the scheduling of this test.
Call before you go
Go to the VA on Lakeside & get him inroler if he isn't yet. If he is bad enough take him to the the VA hospital in Salem.
