New construction is definitely the better choice—although we are a little biased! Nonetheless, if you love a good DIY project, enjoy vintage character, are looking to renovate, or don’t mind budgeting for home repairs, buying a pre-owned home may be the best choice for you. But if you want a move-in ready home with minimal maintenance and modern style, a new construction home is the way to go.
