My nail tech became aggressive and temperamental when I asked her to file a nail down a bit more ... I just moved here, brand new to the area and I even expressed that to both employees working that day. Was initially very excited to get a fresh set of acrylics and treat myself, things quickly went downhill after she asked me what shape. I said squoval, to which she gave me a very undesirable and confused look ... I slightly panicked because I didn't want to anger this woman anymore than I already did by saying squoval hahaha So I explained, almond with no point. So she says, oh almond okay We are nearing the end of the acrylic application and she begins filing my nails to shape ..... they are pointy ): I try to be as sweet and kind as possible, revising the fact that I prefer my shape rounded, and do not like the pointed look. She goes back in, I can't bring myself to tell her they are awful, and my left ring finger was so under-dremmeled it was embarrassing ): at that point, I just asked if she could refile my left ring finger - that's when it was over, she told me if she files too thin they break, gave me a sigh and eye roll like I was her child asking for candy before dinner.... she became aggressive with my hands and her filing, she lost all regard for the file on my skin and started yanking my arms and pushed my elbow down. There was one other person in the salon, the brother of the owner. As I washed my hands, I heard them conversing in their own language and the man approached me at the sink and said " u know, if we file too thin, they break" I kind of just stood there like eyes wide open like , this man did not just say this to me 😅 I'm the only one in the store.... this quickly became an extremely scary and uncomfortable situation for me.... I still tipped her 5 dollars because I FELT BAD BECAUSE SHE WAS MEAN TO ME 😅🤦‍♀️ I can't even scratch my itches bro hahaha I will never be returning 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
