My last dog had clear nails, no problem to trim myself. My new rescue puppy has jet black nails so I'm afraid to do it myself, plus she is pretty timid. I went to Kaycee's as a walk in for nail trimming. They got me in right away, and knew how to keep puppy calm during the experience. Super nice people who know how to deal with nervous pups!!
