UPDATE: Dealing with this billing issue has been NOTHING but a nightmare. I have been sent to collections, when it was in their error, USA Vein is telling me that the balance is zero and they will update the collection agency - meanwhile FOUR calls later, it is STILL NOT UPDATED. I have no choice but to now engage legal council to void an impact to my credit. Unprofessional is a severe understatement. I had a previous consultation with a vein clinic that used to occupy this space. That said, I didn't have a procedure done because I was advised to wait until after pregnancy. Now done with carrying children, I scheduled with what I thought was the same place. Upon check in, I was told that it wasn't and since I was on COBRA, to pay $200 out of pocket and would be reimbursed once processed through insurance, and of course if my deductible was met. At NO point was I told that the ultrasound alone was another $1200+ expense! Never mind the fact that I was in the office for over two hours. I met with the doctor who proceeded to discuss my personal female health versus my veins. When we finally went through the entire vein treatment process, he then stated he felt something was going on and advised for the in-house ultrasound... The tech was VERY nice. I was fine with this part of it... quick and not invasive. Once that was done, the doctor came back in and says "well, you don't have anything wrong"... huh? So I literally wasted 2+ hours of my time, was asked personal questions regarding my female health and reproduction, AND I am now stuck with a $1260 bill for quite literally nothing! I have visible veins... my feet fall asleep constantly... they're always cold. The list goes on... what's more maddening is I was told before that I indeed need the procedure previously by another clinic. No idea if things have changed or what regarding insurance benefits and things like this, but preventative visits such as this shouldn't take this long, nor cost this much. Will never recommend.

I had ablation and foam sclerotherapy treatment to both of my legs. My varicose veins had been visible for a few years but I had avoided doing anything about them because, frankly, I didn't realize the potential long-term severity of the condition. However once I started to get increasing discoloration, skin tightening and dryness I realized that I had to seek help. I found the USA Vein Clinics online and from my first consultation to the post treatment review I was hugely impressed at the professionalism and expertise of the consultants and nursing staff. My procedures have been very successful and I have just been signed off.
