My first visit was Great! The staff explained everything in a detailed manner. I never look forward to going to a dentist appointment , but if the next visit goes as well as my first - I’m all in.

I would love to say I had a great experience but I don’t think that I can classify it as great. I am horribly afraid of going to the dentist and I always have been. I would hope most dentists know that this fear exists but I’m not for sure it was taken seriously at my appointment. I was having a tooth removed and I cannot explain the fear that was going on in my mind. I had asked for nitrous and was given that but I had to ask for it to be made a little more powerful. She did turn it up but I think in the long run I may have been charged for more nitrous than usual. (I might be wrong but this is my thought) first of all, I am absolutely stunned that the fact is that they are charging for nitrous, something to calm the nerves of their patients. It’s not like going to the dentist is cheap. The doctor was less than calming to my nerves. When he asked me if my mouth was numb enough, I had to answer that realistically I did not think I was. I felt like this may have not been what he wanted to hear but he did inject me with more. The procedure started and I was never asked if I was OK by the dentist or even after the procedure was done. The assistant whose name was Yolanda was caring and did ask me how I was doing from time to time. I am new to this practice and had left a practice from Lilburn after moving to Athens. I would like to see this practice be a little more understanding and I would like to understand why I am being charged for nitrous and if I was charged more because they had to up the nitrous. (When I paid I was told that there was an up charge and I can’t imagine what the up charge was for) It has been a week since I have had the tooth removed and I have had pain since then but I’m trying to not call them because I’m not sure if I want to go back.

They do walk ins from 7-11 am
Yes they do.
They do take Medicaid. I know this from personal experience.
That depends on your insurance plan
Yes. Dr. Mcrae and his staff are very caring and knowledgeable of all techniques old or new in the Dental Service area.
Im not sure if they do
They accept most insurances. So they probably do and they are good at telling you what your upfront cost will be if any.
No
Sorry, I really wasn't looking for any incentive. So many people are so quick to write a negative review when something does not go the way they feel it should have and there are no incentives given either way when that happens so when the service is good enough to warrant a positive review why look for something in return.
