Henry County Division is the absolute worst. The workers are very unprofessional and very lazy. I hate to even give them one star because they don’t deserve one. They need to replace everyone and get a whole new crew who are for the people and willing to help.

This is the worst division I had to deal with, they took my grandchildren for me and put them in a Foster Home because I asked for help with daycare so I could work. My grandchildren have been abused, sent to foster homes to foster home and they still wouldn't give me my grand babies, one of my babies is running away because she wants to come to the home, but they found her not she has run away again. No call for the foster parents to let me know that my grandbaby has run away, and when I call to get any information they want to answer the phone. I'm very upset with the defacs in Henry, Griffin, and Detroit for the way they lied and handle my grandchildren's case.

Is apparent that this office has a problem and the state needs to correct it because people come in to receive help not to feel belittled or their benefits cut off due to laziness.. they need to fire and rehire individuals that care about people

They lied and made it seem like they called me for a phone interview when they didn’t and denied my food stamps and nobody answers the phone

Terrible!
Want to make appointment for food stamp
It's almost impossible to get someone on the phone. It's better to walk in and speak with someone
I've never had success with calling the local office. You can call the state number and talk to them to make sure they have everything.
I need to a live person about a application for health care
You will need to contact your caseworker.
You wont be able to. I have never experienced anything like this. Unfortunately you wull have to go stand in line for a very long time just to speak to someone.
If you arrive at time of opening, 8 am, no more than 1-2 hours
I'm not sure .. but I'd call the DFCS office and ask them.
Location will never answer. But if you call the defacs customer service they will give some info about your case. Depending what you need. Case work is never to be found lol :/
Yes, only in the county you reside
client id is on all correspondence they send you.
No one is there to take calls I just called them and the operator said that they are only taking by website love
You can always go to the office to get the information you need. They also have a website you can use to get answers.
There is A program called SWAG in Henry county, that provides GED classes, as well as job training. It has an age limit of 25, I believe. It is completely free. You can google the number.
Yes I have encountered her before
125 henry pkwy McDonough GA
You can ride over there to see if they are open and if you see a sign saying that they are closed due to veterans day with no cars in the parking lot then they are closed
In person go there they should help you
I would call DFCS office and ask that question to make sure that You're doing everything by their Rules.
How long does it take to receive childcare after applying for tanf?
