Had several people ahead of me, but was in and out in under 10 minutes. Greeted at door, nice lady made sure I had the right forms. Sat down for a few, called up by a super polite young man. Had military tags in hand in just a few more minutes and out the door. Great, polite service.

You may contact the Cobb County Motor Vehicle Division online at: https://cobbtax.org/vehicles Did you know? You can now change your address, renew your tags and more online via Georgia DRIVES e-Services: eservices.drives.ga.gov
1-2 weeks
Address - your ID ‐ out standing ticket - your name. Take your choices
I have found its easier to go by there first thing in the morning. Mail has been inconsistent. Hard to know if they got it or not. They can pull your record up with your drivers license.
You will have to contact whoever the lender was for the loan and tell then u need a copy or a title release formnand it must be certified with a stamp from a notary... then you must go the tag office and tell them you need a replacement title. It should take about a week to get.
Yes. Bring at least two forms (different bills, etc)to be safe. I'm pretty sure you do that at DDS though
You should make an appointment online first on the website and then go into the office to get it. They are seeing people by appointment only.
There are several things you will need to to do. You need the clear title and a copy of the Will. You'll need to complete a application for title and an affidavit of inheritance and take it all to the tag office. I suggest you to read up before you go so all things are completed. It's not difficult nor does it take long. You just need to have the proper documentation.
You can send it to the Cobb County Tag office if that is your county of residence.
Hi Joseph, Yes, you may visit this office for a replacement title for your vehicle if you are a Cobb County resident. For more information, visit: https://cobbtax.org/vehicles/title
Just take the death certifate with you and make sure you have an emissions and insurance in the name of who the new owner is. The same happened with me and they are very helpful at the one in acworth and not a long wait.
Go to the tag office behind walmart next to the firehouse you will need to get forms and I bet get them notarized.
All Cobb County Tax Commissioner’s Office locations have re-opened to the public with normal business hours of Monday - Friday 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Yes. They aren't well versed in the Disabled Veteran plates though. Ask for the manager to process your special plate to ensure your time isn't wasted and you don't leave empty handed.
Thx
Yes cash and card
I believe you can still pay for the tag so you did not lapse in paying, but they will require you to get it fixed ASAP. They will probably not give you a temp, but you can ask.
No. You'll need it when the vehicle is in its 3rd year, next year.
You can either go into the tag office and have them track the status, or you can try calling.
If that is closest to you in Cobb county yes, you can look up by your zip code to see closest location. This office is very customer friendly and I have used it often.
First person listed on title needs insurance under their name.

I saw no extra fees when using my card.
They are closed on MLK Day according to their calendar.
Prestige (personal/vanity) license platescan be applied for at your County Tag Office. In addition to the standard requirements and fees, the following is required: Completed Form MV-9B Special (Personal) Prestige License Plate Application $35.00 manufacturing fee, $35.00 annual special tag fee, and $20.00 tag fee
Dont know, am sorry
Yes. This office is one of Cobb County's tag offices for handling these types of transactions. Be sure to have your insurance company submit electronic proof of insurance, and have your emmissions inspection current, if applicable. If you are new to the county, there may be additional items you'll need. I'd recommend calling ahead so you don't have to make multiple trips. Parking can be an issue when they are busy.
changing a vehicle title can be done here, but check with any lienholders about their policies. i was going to add my wife to mine, but there are gotchas you may not want to deal with.
Your renewal notice in the mail has a renew online link and QR code. You need your renewal identification number. The link is currently https://mvd.dor.ga.gov/tags/index.aspx . You can also go to a kiosk at Austell Road, available 24 hrs, and skip the line if you have the tag renewal letter code or tag number and personal info to enter into the machine
You're right on the edge. Cars 3 years old until 25 years old need emissions. When you wrote this you didn't need one but by now you're getting really close
