Great people, my Doctor needed a ultrasound to confirm that I did not have blood clots after surgery. They called Truffles Vein clinic and with in 10 minutes I had an appointment. Walked in and the staff was awesome and informative. Great job!!!

Medical vein disease is simply increased venous pressure due to a mechanical failure of the valves in the veins. This causes increased venous pressure! Signs of increased venous pressure: varicose veins, bulging veins, spider veins, leg swelling, ankle swelling, leg discoloration, purple veins, itchy skin, stasis dermatitis, cellulitis, and phlebitis. Symptoms of vein disease: heavy achy legs. restless leg syndrome, pelvic pain during or after intercourse, burning itchy skin, fatigue, pain and back pain.
A condition characterized by a nearly irresistible urge to move the legs, typically in the evenings.Restless legs syndrome typically occurs while sitting or lying down. It generally worsens with age and can disrupt sleep. The main symptom is a nearly irresistible urge to move the legs. Getting up and moving around helps the unpleasant feeling temporarily go away. Self-care steps, lifestyle changes, or medications may help. However Vein Treatment improves the symptoms! Many patients with Restless Leg Syndrome also have venous insufficiency, leaking of the veins and the veins take waste products out of the circulation system. What happens when you don't effectively get the waste products out of the venous system? The build up of chemicals cause the symptoms of RLS. 80% of patients with RLS and varicose veins experience significant relief from RLS after endovenous ablation.
Vein treatment is medical and thus it really depends on your insurance coverage, deductible and out of pocket maximums. Each policy is different, you may have a $5000 deductible, however, because it is outpatient may only need to pay a copayment of $15. If you call the office we can help you with determining the cost.
Vein treatment has evolved over the past twenty years and in the hands of dedicated vein specialists does not hurt. The treatment is minimally invasive and doesn't even require a stitch.
Most of the time (90%) vein treatment is covered by insurance. Venous insufficiency is the disease process that is being treated, varicose veins, bulging veins, swelling, itchy dry skin are all signs and symptoms. We always notify you if something is not covered before it is done.
We perform procedures with local anesthesia and offer ProNox (patient administered Nitrous Oxide).
