Hey Marsha, works for Jenna McKenzie, this bad review is for you. You “allowed” me to speak? Not only I got a $500 bill cuz you guys didn’t do your job, I should be thankful that you “allowed” me to speak about it now? You said advantagecare physicians don’t check if it’s out of network referrals, so listen people, they will refer you to out of network places that’ll end up not covered by insurance. And you won’t realize until a couple months later you got a surprise bill to pay. And if you asked them about it, they might “allow” you to speak.

Honestly, the only reason I even go here is the fact that finding an endocrinologist close to me under my health insurance was impossible. I also had history with the endocrinologist here even though I had to wait almost three months for an appointment. The big problem here is all around poor communication. I was given a prescription and referral for a CAT scan at Zwanger Pesiri and not once but three times this place had to be called as they did not fax over the prescription. In fact I called several times and they didn't even know the fax number to Zwanger Pesiri, which totally blew me away. Zwanger Pesiri is so well known and is used often. The sad narrative to this is they kept sending the " referral " and not the prescription until someone from Zwanger Pesiri had to dumb it down and explain what they need faxed over. The portal to this place is useless as you send messages and get vague answers so you have to keep sending more messages. The final straw was I went an did a 24 urine collection and timed it so I would bring it back Saturday seeing as Monday might be snow. I went all the way over to Babylon to drop it off this morning and they were closed. There was another elderly woman there as well and she told me they told her to come. These aren't just one time issues. I went to pick up the urine container on Thursday and had to wait almost 20 minutes to be handed a container and almost missed my COVID booster shot in Bay Shore.
