My family takes weekdays off because we own and operate a retail business. We homeschool our one living child who lives with disabilities and gets the short end of opportunities when next to able children in public. We looked up their website for paddle boating and decided to make an impromptu trip up to get on the water, which we've never done. He was so excited for an adventure that wouldn't be hindered by long lines or other (thoughtless) kids. Once we arrived, we saw signage that they are closed for a private event, they were boarded up, rentals are not available, and they are also closed weekdays through September. NONE of this information was stated on the website so we wasted a 2 hour trip and disappointed our son who is already constantly let down by the general public way too often. 👎 As a business operator, I know how easy it is to update ones website. Major disappointment.

All around! Great fishing too.
You can bring your own, however you have to pay a 5 Dollar fee to use the lake.
There are a couple sections on the town-side that have stairs.
