Lowest maintenance I’ve ever had to deal with the office rarely answers the phone. my kitchen sink has been clogged for over a week now and no one has yet to come fix it. I am 38 weeks pregnant and have to drag a bucket of dirty water to the bathroom in order to drain some of the water. The staff does not care. It took over a month for them to fix my ac, but expect you to still pay the rent when they don’t want to fix anything. As soon as I moved in everything started to fall apart the outlets in the bathrooms don’t work. units are barely maintained. I would not recommend moving here.

I was Offered an apartment here 4 months ago and scheduled a tour twice and was stood up twice by one of the employees of the leasing office. I was told to fill out the application I was sent and that I’d be able to move in after we finished paper work. As of today in may, i still Have not received a call back, no paperwork was signed, and no application was completed. I was Charged from their company 40 dollars and have yet to receive a refund that i was Promised months ago. The staff is very rude and does not handle their responsibilities and their customer service is 1 out of 10. I tried To be understanding as i could and patient. It’s not about the money completely, but about my wasted time. Please, if you are going to move her be aware and be careful. People aren’t as kind as they use to be. I just Want an apology and my refund.

I have never lived in a apartment complex such as this. Residences at First Ave has the most rude staff members and lowest maintenance I've ever encountered. I do not know how it's possible that they are in business.

Call an ask them
All of the Residences at First Avenue apartments are under the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, although there are other affordable housing programs on the site. The income-based qualification is that you cannot make more than the percentage of Area Median Income (AMI) that is scheduled for that unit/site. It is not subsidized, but as an affordable housing project, there are "rent ceilings" (maximum rent amounts) that are often much lower than market rates.
We are not sure how to answer that particular question! Could you please restate it so that we can better assist you?
No, the rent for these apartments is not based on your income, and it is not considered subsidized in that fashion.
