I’ve been with people ready for a few years. I haven’t had so many issues with an office my entire time working with the company. You can call relentlessly with no answer, call from another line they will answer. The communication between the office and workers are absolutely horrific. The app glitches at times. If u request off sometimes the app will not remove u. So you will have to call the office (if they pick up) secondly they can see that you attempted to call off the app even if it still shows u on the ticket I have confirmed this with other local offices. I’m not sure what the disconnect is with the office. I have also had issues amongst the workers with discrimination and needless to say nothing was done even when it was reported.

Last week I was signed up for a two day job. It was supposed to only have two people. They sent 5 so they cut the first day in half and cancelled the next. That was last Thursday and Friday. Today I was supposed to start a job that lasted until Friday. I finished today and was expecting to get paid like any day labor. There was some mix up on who was supposed to sign off the ticket. The boss of the company wasn't there and we were left without a supervisor. No one knew who was supposed to sign us out so we called the office. No answer just an automated machine. I started having a panic attack because I had no way home without payment. I had to call the office of the hiring company and they didn't know what to do either. I was getting upset as I just dug ditches on the other side of town from where I live. They cancelled my work for the rest of the week and now I have to figure out how to pay rent. The jobs are rarely close when offered. The office at PeopleReady could have verified who was supposed to pay but didn't. I used to find it convenient when they had good and reliable jobs like Wal Mart but they don't anymore. It's difficult run around and no one answers the phone. I'm very upset with this operation. It's unreliable.

Every time I ask a question the ladies on the phone who work during the afternoon and closing seem to be nice only when they want to be. They hang up before they let you speak. The guy on the phone in the mornings is usually nice and patient. I wish I can work for this place so I can help more people out and have them not deal with any problems. The only positive thing is the automatic pay and that's about it.

Call people Ready ask for the supervisor. Don't depend upon them to keep you on same ticket they are not reliable for this
Call the office. They should be able to help, any branch will do.

Yes after you work two initial days
Yes, make sure you print you job tickets and just for making sure you get paid by filling out own time card everytime even if client has one.
