I’ve come here many many times in the past as first a child, then a nanny, as a teacher, and now a mom. For years I looked forward to taking my baby to the soft baby play area. There’s nothing else like this for babies in the Denver area that isn’t overpriced. I was disappointed to see they are remodelling the area and even more so to see that now it won’t be ready till late next summer! Last time I looked it was supposed to open in early 2023. My baby will already be walking by then. We went today and the current (temporary) baby area they had was disappointing. There’s rocks and dust all over the mats and it’s not nearly as clean as the old area use to be. Another thing that would highly benefit this place is removing the cafeteria style eatery and putting in a nice cafe with baristas and fresh food. All over Europe does this in their museums and I can’t understand why this hasn’t caught on in the States yet. Parents deserve more than a couple of snacks in a cafeteria, especially as there are no other lunch places within walking distance. Finally, the NEW reservation system is not a great idea. With young children, it can be difficult to time things precisely. Children can get sick, have long nap times, and are just very unpredictable in general. Having a scheduled time just adds stress to parents. Before, I could show up at any time. This is so much easier with young children and removes a lot of the stress from parents. I’m sure once they build re-open they baby area and my child is older we will have a much better experience.

We had our wedding here and it was INCREDIBLE! First of all the museum events coordinator Ryan Ting is the nicest & most wonderful person you’ll ever meet! He made the day so fun! Our night was fully staffed & our guests had so much fun!!! They helped put everything together so we didn’t have to think about anything! Such a fun night and our guests couldn’t have had a better time. Thank you Ryan and team!

Yes, also for Denver Museum of Nature & Science!!
Yes
I am not really sure, but as far as I know they only have to pay $1.00 to get in to the facility. I suggest that you go directly to the facility, call them, or go to their website for more information.
Under Age One: Free Age One: $12 Ages 2 - 59: $14 Seniors (60+): $12 Members: Free
Yes and it is a fun area for kids under 3. They ask for no shoes and stuff though.
Yes you can bring your own food or snacks and drinks!! They do have a grab and go style cafe.
Yes, with a SNAP card, it's $1 per person in your household.
Infants thru early teens. They have a room for infants and toddlers, and several other areas for children of all other age groups.
Not currently, but it's better to call and ask
Yes. There’s an elevator as well.
We went last Saturday, 6/5 and it was not open yet. Not sure after that :)
Yes, you do!

Yes. There is an activity center specifically designed for younger kids but my two-year-old was able to do most everything
Denver,
I believe they said closing at 430.
They do unless the policy has changed recently. I would call ahead to verify.
There are two line stops about 25 min walking away
Low sensory days usually once every couple of months, check website
We do not have an Easter event, but do have a Earth Day event on April 20 from 10a - 5p. Activities are included with admission and include Earth-themed StoryTimes, meet & greets with creatures from Nature's Educators, music with energiLAB (powered by you!), tastings in The Teaching Kitchen, special crafts and more.
Yes. We offer $2 off per admission with a military ID.
The small cafe has lots of naturally flavored selections. There are salads, sandwiches, mac and cheese, yogurt, veggies with hummus, chips, fruit snacks, fruit and cheese boxes with crackers, and desserts such as ice cream bars. And there is coffee available for adults! Plus plenty of juices and other drinks to choose from
Hi, I'm a Lead Associate at the museum! If your card says "quest" or "EBT", you can get into the museum for $1 a person for up to 10 people
I don't believe but I would call the children's museum just to make sure because they been adding extras well
5x5 membership cards are accepted that day. It doesn't get you in for free but gets you a 50% discount on event day pricing. Event day pricing that day is $14/$16 so the 5x5 card would get you in for $7/$8 per person.
I think they have a program where families on SNAP can enter for a $1/person up to 10 people. Just show them your EBT card.
Yes, the baby area is shoe-free and it is mandatory. We provide clean socks, or you can wear your own.
The price depends on which annual membership package you want. They start at $140 and go up to $500. https://www.mychildsmuseum.org/get-involved/membership
They will accept a driver's license or government issued ID. They can you look you up in the system. You do not have to have your Children's Museum card. They can look you up in the system. I know this because I almost never have my Children's Museum card and they look me up almost every single time. Also some unsolicited advice, if you want to do a free cooking class, head upstairs immediately to the Teaching Kitchen. The sign up sheets for the entire day are put out as soon as they open and the first three classes usually fill up by 9:30. We've done 20+ classes, they are wonderful!
They will be open according to their website.
You show them your ebt card and it's $1 per person. You can go anytime you want. I believe they're open Sunday
Sho you ps be just fine
Our weekly habit is about 4 hours. During the summer long days you can spend 7 or 8 hours easily.
Setpemberish. The structure frame is going up soon. EDIT They seem to be putting on the final touches and landscaping now, expect about a month more barring any further delays.
As far as I know, only official service animals can be brought into the museum. But there are lots of parks with good playgrounds scattered around the Denver area that allow dogs. Most parks have leash and poop-scoop laws, so be sure to check on that. Some parks also have off-leash dog park areas, so be sure to check on that as well.
They have a curbed gravel overflow lot just outside the building that has a loop format. It's visible on google sat view. If not suitable, there is a large paved pay lot outside the aquarium that busses use.
Under Age One: Free Age One: $11 Ages 2 - 59: $13 Seniors (60+): $11 Members: Free

Usually a gift card is like a line of credit. You can always add more cash to increase that amount of credit. Not sure how you would "upgrade" that.
Yes, and if aren't digging the cafe, and want to maybe save your packed picnic for the ride home, the Aquarium's full restaurant is just a walk away (no need to pay for entry, only upstairs food court is restricted to ticketed guests).
There is some space for stroller parking throughout but it can get pretty crowded.
Plenty of free parking! Two minor caveats: 1) it shares the parking lot with the aquarium but the attendant will let you right through 2) people often use the parking lot for broncos game tailgating, so be prepared for a crowd and a few grills if you happen by on a day with a Sunday afternoon game
