I had a wonderful experience today during my first visit to America’s Best in Gainesville. From the receptionist to the tech to the doc, everyone was simply wonderful to interact with today! Dr. Griffin has provided me with the most comprehensive eye exam and most accurate prescription I have ever had. Honestly, I met Dr. Griffin years ago when he worked at another local eyewear store. I wasn’t able to find him when I looked him up and was pleasantly surprised to see his name on the door when I arrived for my appointment! I simply cannot recommend him enough! After my exam, Miss Linda was so pleasant and wonderful while helping me choose frames and lenses. I am eagerly anticipating the call that my glasses have been made and are ready for pickup. As far as price… look, we all know how expensive glasses can be but I was impressed with the variety of price options and promotions available. Overall, I would definitely recommend America’s Best for your vision needs!

I worked with Linda today, and she was the best! She allowed me to take my time and feel comfortable picking which ever frame i wanted. She also explained and broke down everything, along with answering all my questions without make me feeling intimidated :))

I just went to pick up my glasses and I just wanted to say that Angela, Teresa, and Rich are the best! They both made me feel so welcomed and cared for. I have not had the best of luck with glasses in the past but I love my new glasses and the way they fit my face! Thank you.

Exam is part of the special. You can get bifocals and one pair as sunglasses but there is an additional charge for each.
I went there for Eyewear since my 4 month old puppy decided to jump up onto a table and make a chew toy of my glasses. So I needed new lenses. Two weeks later an auto message came telling me what time the store hours were and I could pick my glasses up then. So three days later my wife and I traveled 51 miles each way to get the new lenses put in the frames that were only a few months old. Upon talking to the girl there I was told "Sorry, but there was nobody there to put the lenses in". I said but your store told me to come in and my order was ready. Now after driving 102 miles I now have to drive another 102 miles again. I paid $83 for the first half of the order and certainly hope they consider my 204 miles, the 10 gallons of gas, and the time it takes to make these trips when I go there again to get my lenses.
My Son got his glasses in a week. And no . They don't make them in house. We went for the 2 or for $69 and free eye exam. We walked out paying $231. We won't be returning to them.
You don't need an appointment, we take walk ins, we have a Dr. five days a week.
