This has been my best plumbing experience. Very nice staff. Scheduled in my time frame & quickly. Plumber (Weston J) who arrived was professional & explained costs. He didn't try to up-sell any unnecessary services. He fixed a broken water line, installed shut-offs, a new exterior facuet & fixed a leak. Will definitely call again when I need a plumber

Many seasonal residents have homes in Florida that sit vacant for a few months out of the year. Before you leave, be sure to shut off or put your water heater on vacation mode. Being sure that the main water shut off is in the closed position can guarantee that water will not flow into your home in case of a leak or major pipe issue. Clearing the garbage disposal by running water for 30 seconds which having the garbage disposal running will also be sure that you don't have a foul smell upon your return to your home the following season. With so many important plumbing supplies within the home, our suggestion is to become a Babe's Benefit member which provides a shut down service prior to you leaving as well as a quality check when you return to your seasonal home. These packages start at $179 and save you 10% on all work that would need to be done to protect your plumbing, long-term.
Liquid drain cleaners that are marketed to the consumer as a solution to a clogged drain, can actually damage your plumbing and cause harm to a plumber when they do arrive. The harsh chemicals can cause erosion to the pipes over time which lead to leaks and much bigger plumbing issues. Sometimes clogs come from simple issues such as items being put down toilets or drains that aren't ideal, to roots and debris in the homes drainage. Making sure that the cause of the clog is located and that the solution fits the problem, is imperative to successfully clearing the drain and protecting the long-term quality of the pipes.
I want to be sure before I call a plumber. - One simple way that you can determine if your toilet tank is leaking into the bowl, which can cause an increase in your water bill, is to remove the tank lid. Put a few drops off food dye into the tank. After about 15 minutes return and look in the toilet bowl. If the water in the toilet bowl is colored, then the tank is leaking. There are a variety of ways to resolve this issue, all of which we would be happy to assist you with.
Hot water heaters have varying warranties, depending on the manufacturer. If the water heater is no longer under warranty, repairs made to the water heater, both time and material, are chargeable to the customer. If you are deciding between repairing and replacing your water heater, take advantage of our free estimates, and we will send a plumber to your home and give you a quote to repair or replace so you can make a educated decision. Our plumbers carry all necessary parts and equipment on their trucks allowing you, in most cases, to get your work done immediately, based on the decision you make.
Back flow preventers protect cross-contamination between potable and non-potable water sources, such as irrigation water. These devices and required by the local governing authority based on the location of your home (city or county). Our licensed back flow inspectors can test and certify your back flow annually, as required by the legislature to ensure the water coming into your home is protected from contamination.
