My highlights service felt rushed and ended up more stripy than I wanted. I literally said I don’t want stripes and that I like it well blended. I also showed them a picture of what i wanted. This was done by one of their more senior stylists too… I won’t be returning. 3 stars because it’s not absolutely terrible and they offer customers water, tea, etc. which is nice.

I recently moved to PHX and was looking for a new salon. I read reviews and did research to find the root. I optimistically made an appointment for a haircut. I was pleasantly surprised that’s why I am giving this a 2 star. I decided to go ahead and book a color with a top colorist. I told him I wanted to enhance my bronde balayage and go a little blonder for the summer. He said ok and proceeded to turn my hair into a mosey brown disaster!!! I now HATE my color. Its not at all what I asked for and instead of doing balayage he did foils so my hair was a grand total of $400 which I never spend so much on. Normally its $375 in Seattle with tip from a Paris trained colorist. I feel ripped off and completely untrusting of this salon. I am planning on flying back to Seattle to have my hair colorist correct it. I don’t think I can ever go back here even with the fantastic cut. I initially thought I will give it a day or so and maybe it will lighten up but even my husband agreed it’s awful.
