Why are you discriminating against homeless men. Nov 2022 your giving 300 trangenders 12 thousand dollars? Sounds like your promoting mental illness with tax dollars. Way to tear down family structure and incentivize a mental disorder. Is this a plot for more funding in the future. ?

Dr.Lee and the dental assistants very caring and respectful. Also dentist Tara Dallman who donates 1 full day each week is also very caring and genuine. Tara works the Champa St dental office.

Writing this on behalf of my friend. This used to be so much better and a good place for people. However people now working here especially on the ground floor are absolutely disgustingly heartless.. They have fired a lot of good people and drove out very kind and caring people in faith based charities with my local church. There's still some good people, Deb the payee upstairs is awesome as are some people in the clubhouse. But the people dictating over the main floor lobby (usually a black gentleman and black lady whos names I forgot) are extremely loud and bullying to people and create a deeply oppressive atmosphere. Most of the time I just keep my head down, but earlier they singled out, yelled at and straight up bullied a friend of mine who has a legitimate disability and exemptions on the mask wearing. This exemption was granted to him previously from Stout St Clinic across the street and they said they would not honor it for whatever reason. My friend is a very kind guy that would go out of his way for people and help anyone else out and dealing with a lot of stress regarding housing, moving, job stress and family issues. This was the last thing he needed today and I'm upset and mortified at how he was treated. This kind of misplaced authority and bad behavior that is on full display with the Lobby Staff really needs to be addressed. This place is supposed to help people not stress people out and make them feel persecuted and ganged up on.

They are above and beyond helping me out

Sure do accept felons, if they didn't I wouldn't have my apartment!!!!
No that is absolutely not true.Ive lived in a coalition property for 20 years and have never had My rent raised more than 10 percent. And it's only once a year . right now my rent is the same as it was 7 years ago, when I went up due to the fact I started recieve additional income.
Try Thier clinic on the 2100 block of Stout. Stout Street Clinic.
You can look that up on line or visit the broadway building they always have info!!! I am sure they can help. But there are many locations all over!
You can always walk in to Stout Street Clinic and request an appointment with a doctor or nurse to address any medical, mental health, or dental concerns.
The last that I heard it was voted down by the neiboring community.
Mondays and Wednesdays if you come in either 7:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. you can get set up with Community Resources that's your best bet for starting the process
Because they are swamped with phone calls, you are not the only person seeking assistance. Leave a message, send an email!
Hi Bick, all of our services will be open during normal business hours on President's day.
It depends on the unit you get. Some do some don't.
They take all sources of income, inc SNAP into account. They give credits toward disability, dependants, medical expenses, child care etc. The balance between the two is the amount of rent you pay. I don't have their exact formula but that is how it works. My mother and I pay roughly 30% of our income. I hope this helped!
Hi James, Yes, you can access services without an ID. We can also assist with obtaining an ID as well.
The Income vs. Rent...
Check into Catholic Charities

I'm in the same situation. My adult son is homeless in Denver and contracted Covid late last year. They put him in Respite to recover and I haven't heard anything from him since.
Yes they do their radically however I have gotten no help from them whatsoever.
They serve all of the population.
Check with Stout Street clinic operated by CCH they are the medical provider professionals. If they can't provide you with what you require generally they have a list of providers that can generally accommodate most needs.
They open at 8 am.
Its possible but they will surly lead you to where you need to be great staff helped me will help you as well
See if he can file for recertification to re-enter the camp
That sounds like a Medicafe question.
No sure probably have to get in touch with social services
They have doctor's there and they will refer you to an OBGYN doctor at another location that handles pregnant women. You best bet is to go to Denver Health. They are much better and have unlimited doctors that will help you.
Gently and kindly provide them information to direct them to services for the homeless at CCH? Perhaps offer a bus fare too to help them get downtown.
Just go put your name on the list! It all depends, it can and will happen just takes time
You'd have to get in contact with your case manager.
We typically try to refer people in that same week. It all depends on the number of current residents. Some days we have openings and then as you can imagine we are full at other times and no one leaves. (Which is a good thing) I generally tell people that to expect to wait a few weeks. Give or take.
You have to remember that to rent a governmentalrent assistance or section 8 facility you are going to be under the realm of actually having to take care of certain aspects that include water gas other regulatory services that for the most part are taxed different differentially by what happens in the city so a increase in water rides or water bill would reflect on your rent so take that into into mine that that's what may happen in the process of your rent to the Colorado coalition of the homeless AKA section 8 HUD housing or anything like that
No, we connect people with housing resources and help them find transitional and long term housing.
They do have housing for fixed income seniors as far as I know and/or resources of other programs to help you with this
We do not have an emergency rental assistance program at the Coalition though there are some instances in which we can help. However, we do provide affordable housing options which you can check for eligibility here: http://www.affordable-rent.com/properties/list.
If it's an emergency with Children they will get you to the right place for same day voucher.
Come to the building at 2100 Broadway on Monday & or Wednesday between 7:30a - 8:30 and 12:30 -1p to sign up for our housing lottery. ..its a random drawing for 10 people in the morning and 8 in the afternoon. ...if your name is drawn you will get an appointment that day to get a housing case worker that will work with you to help find housing....if you are not picked they encourage everyone to keep coming because you will get pick eventually
Section 8 on 7th and grant corner of 8th
Why were you denied? What was the illegal action?
They are more than willing to help, but like all programs their is that waiting lists. Be patient.
I got drawn on my first time then it took 3 years on the waiting list before I got my apartment.
No
The coalion is a good place to start
If you're mental or a drunk it's easier for you to get in if you're not good luck
