Been a loyal customer for over 10 years. There are more bagel stores in the UWS nowadays but you can’t beat the old school ambience this place exudes.

Tal bagels is already quite overpriced at its other locations, but here, it’s almost double of that. They want almost $30 for a dozen bagels, at the other locations you get 15 bagels for $18, not sure if the owners know about this but people keep complaining and leaving without buying the stuff. If you’re a chain, make the prices at least similar so it feels like less of a slap in the face. Also, the bagels here are far less fresh than every other location, very disappointing

After years of enjoying Tal bagles, seems we found the whole wheat everything bagles now have a foul/moldy taste. Tried to bring this to the owners attention who scoffed and hung up on me. The questionable cleanliness of this establishment, super high prices, and random “mistaken” overcharging, makes it easy to say goodby!!
