Always fast and easy professional service. Fair pricing and never too busy. Every time I've been there the employees have been helpful knowledgeable and informative and for someone who is new to scrapping, that is relieving and greatly appreciated.

Have been here a bunch of times for scrap metal runs for work and for personal things. The people working there are great. Very nice and very helpful. If you are unsure of where to go, they point you in the right direction. There is a few for disposal of items with refrigerant, and they take most items made of metal, including lawnmowers. They even take batteries. Nice convenient place.

Only the rims no tires if you have 1 rim and tire in a full load it is acceptable
Lead acid batteries are accepted and paid by weight. We do not take rechargeable LI or NICAD batteries. Electronic scrap is limited to complete PC towers, other misc electronic scrap is usually mixed in with Light Iron
Yes they pay you for the different scrap metals that you bring in and sort. The different scraps have different prices based on per GT (gross ton). So if you have let's say 20lbs of brass, then the price per GT is calculated based on the weight you bring in. They have all sorts of different scrapable metals, including thick iron (#1), light iron, and then your other metals such as, copper, brass, wires, and so on. Everyone that works here is great and will help you with any questions you may have. Hope this helps.
No wood
Electr stove
You can really scrap any type of metal here. Copper, brass, aluminum, pewter and more "specialty" metals, also light iron (thin steel), #1 iron (thick steel). So yes you can bring old copper tea pots here
car batteries and such are bought by weight
How much do you pay for #1 copper?
They take pretty much anything made of metal. Just remember there is a charge ( I think $10)for any item containing refrigerant ( air conditioners, freezers, refrigerators stuff like that) and they DO NOT take anything that stores propane or other flammable gasses.( Blue Rhino style tanks or those little green Colman camp stove tanks ect...). Otherwise, pretty much anything made of metal. Great place, great gang of guys working there, the lead guy, (the Forman?) Dan is a real good dude. They're all very pleasant to work with, helpful , and honest. I would highly recommend Atlantic Metal in Hanson to anyone.
10$ charge if the refrigerant has not been reclaimed , if it has , it is paid at current scale price as “Light Iron “
If they have freon we charge 10.00. If not we will pay you the light metal price.
We dont pick up as a company, but there are scrappers that come here that will pick it up. They are not employees of Atlantic Metal so any charges or anything else is strictly between you and the scrapper
No
Please call scale for daily pricing
