Love going here as seasons change.

I walk here almost every morning. Miles of gravel paths, water/fishing, lots of wildlife. I’ve recently seen deer, otters, heron, egrets, frogs, turtles, osprey, and snakes. Lots of paths in the woods too.
Alton Taylor
Excellent walking and bike riding. Nature galore. Lots of bird watching.
Sheila Kamath
Beautiful place. Hawks and jerons abound. Bring bug spray.

"Hawk Ave" off pleasant street next to the commuter rail crossing is where most of the birders set out from. There are also two entrances from Elm Street too, one in Halifax and one in Hanson. The Hanson Elm street entrance is much more wooded north of the lower reservoir, and the Halifax entrance is the opposite side of the bogs south of the lower reservoir.
I think it was in the Hanson times.
Yes fishing allowed. Canoe or kayaking too.
