The reason for my negative review is that I just had to have an Intoxalock installed on my vehicle. Yes the reason for the Intoxalock is my fault, but my vehicle had 3000 miles on it and it’s a 2021. When I received it back, the Intoxalock had a warning run wire code on it and my vehicle had Blindspot sensors not working code. They gave it back to me that way, and when I asked about it I was told that with some of the newer vehicles you get the warning run wire. Also when I asked the gentleman about things like the ABV thresholds and information along those lines, he seemed very uninformed. Will be changing my service center.

At your appointment, you will learn how to use the Intoxalock ignition interlock device, what to avoid before blowing into the device, and how to maintain the device. Tutorial videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.
An ignition interlock device, also frequently referred to as a car breathalyzer, ranges in cost between $70 and $150 for installation. This fee is a one-time fee paid at the start of your lease period for the device to be installed into your vehicle. This fee is paid directly to the service center for the work done to complete your installation.
Once the device is installed, drivers blow into the car breathalyzer mouthpiece to provide a breath sample. The device tests for breath alcohol content (BrAC) within the legal limit. If it's under the limit (typically .02), then the driver can put their keys in the ignition and start the car.
