Great trip to Catalina Island to end our summer! We saw the largest pod of dolphins we have ever seen on the way to Catalina. The Captain took extra time to ensure everyone got a great view and camera opportunities. It was just as good as any whale watching excursion I have been on. Top notch service. The only drawback is it would be nice if there were another exit or two from the vessel. It took quite a bit of time to exit.

Wish I would have visited Catalina a long time ago! The experience my family had on the Catalina Flyer was great. I truly appreciated the hospitality and helpfulness from the staff. I was impressed by staff being diligent in making sure the tables reserved for 4-6 people truly were being used by parties of 4-6. This helped us for sure since it was 6 of us. It was reassuring to hear it over the loudspeaker and seeing staff come around the tables to make sure. Thank you!!

Really awesome experience! Fair price, nice and knowledgeable staff. The line to load the ship moves quick and orderly, very Covid safe and conscious. Comfortable seats and a great drink/snack bar on board. Quick trip to Catalina and on time. I loved it and will ride with this company again.

We took the Catalina flyer for a day trip to Catalina island. We had no idea what to expect as we had never been here before. On the way to the island we saw three different types of dolphins and on the way back we saw a blue whale. While on board on our way to the island we were able to pick up some adventure tours at a decent discount. This is a trip that I do recommend. It is included with the Los Angeles passes.

The Catalina Flyer (not the Catalina Express) departs from Newport Beach. We recommend parking in the Balboa Pier Parking Lot, also known as the Balboa Municipal Lot. It is located on Palm Street, out on the oceanfront. You can park up to seven days, and costs $23.25 per 24 hour period at the time of this post. Parking can be paid for in advance at https://balboapierlot.clickandpark.com/ , however pre-payment does not reserve you a spot. NT

Yes, you just have to store it in the designated area on the main deck.
They have electric bikes for rent on Catalina Island. So I don't see why you can't bring your own electric bike over there. Google and call Catalina Island to double check.
