I was treated to a birthday dinner here by my daughter. We both agreed the food was some of the best we’ve eaten (and she lived in Boston’s North End for years!). Our server (Pedro? I didn’t get to see the check 😊) was friendly and attentive, full of good humor, and he really set the tone for a celebration. The outdoor terrace was warmed by heaters and was perfectly comfortable even on a chilly fall evening.

Have frequented Terra many times as we live locally. Went on Saturday... Sat at the bar, and noticed a different bar staff of 3. In a nut shell there was one main person, and she spent 90% of our time there chatting which what seemed to be her friends and doing glasses. When I commented that given our poor service, maybe she wanted to check in on others whose glasses were empty. At which point she told me they had been overservered at another bar.... Then instead of explaining this to them, she was rude, created an altercation, then passed by me and asked 'did i want to add anything else?' Next another staff member came by and try to explain to me that it wasnt my place as I knew nothing about that party being over served, and there were two exits if I needed them. Lastly the main woman then proceeded to gather a group at the service bar, and tell bad stories about me... as they all kept turning and staring. I told this story to my friends who tend bar - also locally - and said they had heard of that group, and very poor service reviews. I would steer clear of bar, and if at a table, be ready for slow service there as well.

So I ONLY come to Danbury, CT for work and every experience so far has been drab. BUT, coming to hotel zero and eating HERE gives me hope that there is quality experiences and in this area. The food tasted exactly as described - mussels wells decorated with sauce and spice, truffle fries respectively decorated in hints of flavor, pasta done well enough to make your nana nod in approval. This was all accompanied by a great environment outside on the patio or inside at high cushioned booths or a well set bar. Being from DC .. it met the standard. If I come back it’s Terra and only Terra. Come for food stay for expectations met!!!!
