What Emily and John said. Nice paved trsils, easy access, plenty of parking. The tower does not have an elevator,so you'll probably want to skip that.
Yes. As long as you have a valid Ohio fishing license, a visitors fishing license, or are under the age of 16. As long as you are following ODNR fishing rules and regulations, then yes anyone may fish within the park.
Yes, as long as your fur baby is on their leash. Plus, please pick up after your baby too! 😊
There are at the two largest pavilions - First-Knox and Kiwanis. You are not allowed to plug in certain items at events, such as roasting pans, that will trip the breakers. For additional details, call the reservation specialist at 740-501-9293.
The glass is called call it and was left over from the process that Pittsburgh plate glass used to create the glass. That process was called the Penn Vernon process or also the ribbon of glass and so this element of the park was created to reference that and is called the river of glass. It will be redesigned and refurbished in 2020.
I would say so. Your going to find alot of metal since the old factory was leveled there. I would say that the city and or arial wouldnt be too fond of people digging up the ground though. They soend a fortune on grounds keeping.
Yes, it's free. They also have free concerts on occasion.
No, I'm afraid not. It is on display to honor the Park's industrial heritage.
Little River Band was planned to be at the Music and Arts Festival but it was cancelled.
The park has nothing to do with the tubs. They were there about three weeks ago and we have not moved them.
So sad poor cats!!!
Hello, Mary. Yes, this is a possibility. Please contact Megan, our reservation specialist, at 740-501-9293 and talk to her about your request. Carrie and/or Jody should be able to take you on a tour, depending on if you are looking for more historical information, nature information, or both.
That is correct. You would need to call the park's reservation line at 740-501-9293.
Yes, it is. In fact, we offer beginner kayak adventure courses every other Saturday through Sept. 1. And of course the new launch makes it really easy to get on/off the water.

Hello, Mindy. We serve alcohol at most of our events. The only alcohol allowed is what you can purchase at our events and it is to be kept inside the fenced area of the event center. If it is not our event (i.e. a private wedding reception or fundraiser event held by someone else at our venues), it varies.
Tonight, from 5:30 to 7, we have caroling, singing, refreshments and a candle luminary display at the Park. Park at the clock house.
Goose hunting is only until 1 pm.
Probably a carp
According to their official website you cannot. They do however allow fishing, with permit and have many activities throughout the year offered. They will host the fireworks on the 4th as well as several outdoor free concerts and exercise classes.
It closes at night.
Rex as far as I know Ariel park is just the remnant of the old glass factory repurposed to make a park.
