I didn't know how great Taylor Tree Farm was until this year. We came a week later than normal and Taylor was closed (I don't know if they had a bad growing season or what). We were forced to go to Country Cabin Tree farm just down the road and the experience was TOTALLY different and frustrating. At Taylor they allow you to pick any tree for a flat price (I can't remember what it is, but it's in the $40-$60 range). There are plenty of beautifully trimmed and full trees. At Country Cabin we were only allowed to cut trees with red tags (the tags were hard to spot and there were very few tagged trees). We walked over the whole farm and only found 5-7 trees with tags. We ended up buying a horrible looking tree for $40 because the rest of them were about $70 or more. The price was different for every tree, based on tree height and kind of tree. I was so frustrated and so much more appreciative of the way Taylor Tree farm runs things after my experience with Country Cabin. Thanks, Taylor for making tree buying simple and fun!

Great selection on a big property. Nice flat $50 for any size too, we got an ~8 ft. Blue Spruce that is beautiful. Our dog loved it too!
