Went to be seen for chest pains and pain around my heart I scheduled the appointment and missed work to attend (half day). When I arrived they first say they won’t see me unless I have a new insurance card. I explained I lost my wallet and do not have any cards. They agreed to see me and told me I could tell my wife she could leave. (She needed the vehicle to go pick my son up and the other vehicle is in the shop) I walk back inside and sit down for them to call me back and tell me they won’t be able to see me today without my insurance Card and paying my balance in full. I owed 150 dollars, because I owed not even a couple hundred dollars they would not see me unless I could pay the bill in full. As a health care provider if a patient who has been with you for over ten years is having chest pains and 120 BPM you should probably put the greed aside. This is also the same place who billed me for being seen when I was 16-17 and got paid even though as a minor that would not be my responsibility. I went to urgent care and right away they wanted me to go to the E.R. For a full work up.!
