I've had better days at this hotel. I was stuck in a room that was previously occupied for months by someone who burned incense daily. It also had a terrible urine smell that was probably due to the pet that was living there as well. The carpets were sticky probably due to using too much soap to clean it and one of the towels had a #2 smear on it. I asked to be relocated to another room and was told that since they were booked, I had to wait unitl after 2 pm to see if there was a cancellation. Unfortunately for me and my family, I never heard back from them. The staff was nice but everything else was dreadful and disappointing. I usually stay here when I come to town and everything is usually fair at best. I just never had an experience like this.

Positive: Location and price. Negative: Two out of four bulbs missing over the sink. Less than ideal lighting. This was a handicap room, and the shower has a design defect. No matter how careful one is with the curtain, etc., water pours out on to the floor of the bath. Decor is date

The counter service was good. The linens were clean. The mattress felt ancient, but was passable. This was a decent $80 hotel room that cost $107. The first room I was given stunk like mold and smoke so bad that for the first time in my 50 year life I asked to be moved to a different room. The room I was moved to likely would have smelled the same way but for the extremely generous application of cheap air freshner which could have masked the smell of a rotting corpse. The breakfast offering was simple. In fact, it consisted of a single food item: Chef Pierre banana nut muffins. It was an educational choice in that until this morning I never knew a muffin could taste so cheaply made. And did Chef Pierre have to have custom muffin pans made in order to get them that small? Choice Hotels would be best served by simply not offering breakfast rather than phoning it in to such an extreme. I do have to give credit where credit is due. The coffee was excellent. This hotel is 6 minutes away from a warehouse I regularly pull stock from. In the future I'll stay at one of the many offerings that are further away in hopes of getting what I pay for.

From out of town. Stayed here for karate tournament. So, the location was fine. Close to fast food and a grocery store. Very outdated, many things in the room did not work. Exhaust fan in the bathroom, the air conditioner, the heater, and the refrigerator was on the fritz. Coffee pot didn’t work correctly, either. Stains on the carpet, dirty walls, etc. I will say, the employees at the hotel were super nice. They were very inviting and pleasant. If it weren’t for them, we may have found another place to stay.
