I don't usually leave poor reviews but this place was definitely NOT what the description or prior reviews describe. Called the day before to make a reservation bc we had a larger party. They were a bit panicked when we showed up and had to find room for us. Really just one lady doing everything. Very limited menu and almost everything was WAY overcooked. "Seared tuna" came out in chunks that were cooked enough they were ready to be canned, "medium-rare" steaks had a tiny hint of pink to them. And 40 types of bourbon? Yeah, no. The bar shelves were almost empty - one vodka and one bourbon on the list. Don't know what happened to this place but I wouldn't recommend it; we were really disappointed, especially for the price.

I would highly suggest supporting this local gem. Service is a little slow due to short staffing, but food is worth it. Not to mention how friendly and apologetic the staff was. They stuck together and made a perfect dinner experience for us. Kindness really does go a long way. If we go back to Deep Creek we will be coming here that’s for sure.

Great food. Nice view from deck. Nothing fancy but fine with me. Would give a 5 but they forgot our hush puppies. Got them to go. They were great also

Nice people but sort of a surprise, the shrimp pictured were to die for. Just delicious but the crab cakes that followed were a complete disappointment. I know crab meat has gone up but people keep your quality and raise the price a little. $30 for a crab cake dinner that was more like fish cakes and just coleslaw or fries?? Seriously?
