What an amazing program with amazing staff running it . After 33 days total being there I am now home and living a sober lifestyle. I could not be more thankful . And proud of myself . Thank you ELIH for your heartfelt help and dedication to my treatment . I will never forget.

Horrible, 2 bathrooms for 22 addicts. They "staff" pick and chooses how gets what, sneak thieves all around "cris" and nothing HAPPENS. To get admistratly discharged because he scared, well I guess my belongings is not important.

This place is a joke. They tell u on the pgn that they can take u in, u drove an hr and a half sick as a dog, for them to th take me into a room, nkt even take my blood pressure, and tell me that un not sick enough to admit, which is bs i was almost 2 days cold turkey. Worst trip home ever. Dont waste ur gas unless u have the bucks.

28 days seemed too long. The counseling staff was exceptional. The clientele didn't seem properly screened.Some of the clients seemed to have more issues than addiction. Accommodations good, as well as the food. Medical staff was very good. Not much adult recreation. Very caring.

Most likely there are beds, almost always are! However, they will NOT take anyone who isn't in true withdrawl. In my past, it wasn't the bed count that made it hard to get in, it was the STRICT withdrawl stipulation. Always call ahead (not post) for bed availability, but it's 1st come 1st serve so even jf there is a bed or two at least, there could be 2 people in ER already waiting. Though, most don't always get it as per the withdrawal policy. They are NOT lenient with that. Ps: Expect a decent couple hours of waiting while you're evaluated & what not. It's tough while you are sick but getting better worth the suffering! I wish you and everyone else looking for help to reach recovery and obtain a normal happy life!💜
Typical hospital food, 3 meals a day, not the worst by far. Ofcourse like every hospital you get just 1 pack of salt/spices per meal which is rough. However, you do get coffee almost every meal too. ^^ Don't base your recovery on the food quality. For what it does lack, the Detox unit will take care of you best they can! Probably because you were rude. Respect gains respect, they are there to help you, not give in to your every demand & desire. I've been clean 16 years now so its been a while but never had bad experience there unless I was denied entrance because I wasn't in withdrawals as mandated. Plus, this is a Detox unit, you know how many jerks they put up with daily?! They care but as I said, Respect is mutual! They not gonna be nice if you aren't!
