A friend and I went to Ingebretson's Vintage Sale a block from the store, and followed it up with a trip to the store to get some lefse. Lots of beautiful things.

Love this place! Head cheese, blood sausage, lutefisk. I could go on on. So awesome!

Not a lot of items available that they once had and their website is out of date to what's available in stock. But nice people.

I have been going to Ingebretsen's since I was a little girl. My kids and grandkids are the 4th and 5th generations of my family to shop here. I love this place. And the people are phenomenal!

Yes. Plain or with caraway. Will cut any amount.
Sadly no they do not.
Deli is open. Fyi, that side of the store is cash/check only.
Hi Don, No, I'm afraid that's been discontinued for several years now. We do have some other Norwegian guest books - give us a call and we can describe them to you, or (even better) stop in and take a look! Thanks so much for asking.
We do still have a few. They're called electric candelabras, and the style is Karin 5. Give us a call or come on in, and thanks for asking!
Yes they do.
Hi Karen - short answer is no. We do sell a mix for potato dumplings called "klub", which sounds related! It's in our deli and website: https://www.ingebretsens.com/potato-dumpling-mix. Hope that helps!
Ingebretsens is very good for Covid safety. They have many ways to avoid people exposure. Love this place. I buy both in the butcher shop and gift store. I feel very safe!
I saw some lingonberry sauce while there, and I thought I saw some in the frozen case. They sell the BEST potato salad I have had in years! Just delicious!
Thanks so much for your kind words and your concern! We did suffer some damage to our store Wednesday night/Thursday morning but we are already well into the process of clean-up and hope to re-open the storefront in some format in the next 2-3 weeks. It is indeed a sad and difficult time for the entire community in many ways. But we will come through it. And we look forward to welcoming our customers into the store once again! Many thanks again for your interest in Ingebretsen's - we so appreciate it! Be well, All of us at Ingebretsen's Nordic Marketplace www.ingebretsens.com
They do and it is good
What does that mean?
Fresh frozen they try to carry. Lingonberry crops in the past few years have not been plentiful.
Check their website.
I believe their hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Hi Pam, We sell a wide variety of packaged flatbreads, including an amazing one made in small batches in New York by a Norwegian woman: https://www.ingebretsens.com/shop/food/lefse-bread-crackers/norwegian-baked-knekkebrod We recommend it!
Probably best to call them. 612- 729- 9333
I don't work there, but I believe I've seen them at Christmas time.
I've only ever seen head cheese, aka Sylta. Never seen or looked for hot Sylta. My mother loves it, I ate it as a child, before u knew what it was. LOL
Only street parking
It is usually the Sulfides in the wine or products that is the allergen not the wine itself. ...check directly with Ingebretsen's to be sure. I have a friend who cannot drink bottled water because of the sulfides
Cash or check, just no credit cards.
It is a dessert, like a pudding. My favorite thing to do with it is put a scoop in sandbakkels and top it with lingonberries. It looks and tastes delicious.
Not sure...you might want call them though...sorry could give you a definitive answer
Yes!
