We got a cake and cupcakes for our wedding here. We did a tasting in the Minnetonka store, it was so laid back and convenient. The one issue we had was the cake style/design we picked (from a rather large selection) wasn’t communicated so we ended up having to last-minute remake a decision. Otherwise a perfect experience and obviously the deserts were amazing!!! We will be using them again in the future.

Honestly, the cake is delicious - that part is accurate! But they were not able to give us our dream wedding cake vision simply because of their own personal view point on dyes... the only reason I went with buttercream Bakery instead of another baker was because our venue had a promotion contract with them where our cake would be free through them. Our cake looked nothing like what we had expected. We ask for hexagon cake and it was round, they told us to leave the flowers on the cake table and when they dropped it off they would add the flowers for me, they did not - I had to make my maid of honor do it last minute. If you have a vision as to what you would like your cake to be, go somewhere else. If you don't care about appearance and just want delicious cake. This Bakery is for you.

Did not honor anniversary cake promise. They changed their policies after our wedding, and did not honor a previous contract to provide one complimentary cake for your anniversary. If you do business with Buttercream you can expect that they will bait and switch.

We could not have been happier with the David and the Buttercream Cakes team. We loved the variety of flavors to choose from, we were able to pick a different flavor for each cake tier and 4 different flavors for the cupcakes. The cakes were as beautiful as they were delicious. We had 110 guests and ordered enough cake/cupcakes for 140 and had just a few cupcakes left so it is safe to say the cake was a hit with our guests! We cannot recommend Buttercream enough!
