My little guy recently started and he really enjoys this time at Nubreed. They are professional, run a tight ship, and make sure the kids learn the basic skills of life, such as respect, listening, motivation, self protection and so much more.

10/10 academy, i have been attending for almost a year and i have all positive things to say! fantastic community environment, very welcoming. everyone who works there is extremely knowledgable and really great at communicating their knowledge and making it accessible to all kinds of people. i also love the variety of classes they offer.

I never knew I would be into martial arts in my life. As a relatively-aged woman, I find that learning self-defense at this time and age necessary yet difficult. But at Nubreed, Sifu Alex and Sifu Luigi, along with all the Sihings/Sijies, and my classmates, young and old, make me feel it's do-able. The main thing is that it is positive and uplifting energy throughout the lessons. I do not need to know my peers well in order to feel the support and camaraderie from and for each other. I am glad I came to the right place to learn. (I wish I had sent my son here when he was growing up. He's grown now and does not live in NY.)
